MatchPoint NYC Swimmers Take Home Over 50 Medals at Silvers Meet

Dear Parents and Swimmers,

This past weekend, the MatchPoint NYC Swim Team dove into the Silvers Swim Meet at Lehman College. With another large group of swimmers, our team was primed to secure a lot of wins in the Bronx. No new records were broken this time, but Konstantin and the rest of the coaches were still pleased with the team’s progress and results!

Below is a breakdown of placement:

• Kai Funaro – Four 1st places!
• Artur Vazenins – Three 1st, one 2nd, and two 3rd places!
• Rebecca Trosman – Two 1st, one 2nd, and two 3rd places!
• David Grushovenko – Two 1st, two 2nd, and one 3rd places!
• Elena Curinnaia – Two 1st, one 2nd, and one 3rd places!
• Ariana Ma – Two 1st and 2nd places!
• Aarez Funaro – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places!
• Aleksandr Karachev – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places!
• Eric Slavin – 1st and 3rd places!
• Valerii Pidhoretskyy – 1st and 2nd places!
• Anna Karacheva – 1st and 3rd places!
• Adam Bukinich – Three 2nd places and one 3rd!
• Michael Iosava – 2nd and three 3rd places!
• Andrew Woo – Two 2nd and one 3rd places!
• Philipp Rivkind – 2nd and two 3rd places!
• Dan Fratea – 2nd place!
• Fillip Gold – 2nd place!

Our team took home a combined 20 1st, 25 2nd, and 19 3rd places from the Silvers Swim Meet.  Our grand total is 64 medals for 26 swimmers. Great job and swim onward, MatchPoint NYC!
