MatchPoint NYC Swim Team Competes in Junior Olympics

Dear Parents and Swimmers,

The Junior Olympics have been a competition that our coaches had circled on their calendars for quite some time and their team did not disappoint. It was a blast of a weekend for our beloved Swim Team, who had three different age groups participate in the event on Long Island. Thanks to amazing performances from standouts Ilyan Lomeyko and Martyna Kaps, our 14-and-under group placed 13th out of 100 teams from the Metro Area! Our 15-18 age group placed 10th out of 100 teams by combined points scored, with the girls in 16th place and the boys in 4th. In boys 10-and-under relays, we took home three 4th places thanks to the efforts of Dan Fratea, Stefan Perelman, Nikita Savkin, and Jun Hyun Meyer. Coach Konstantin was very proud of his team’s performance overall!
