MatchPoint NYC Swim Team Breaks Records at Junior Olympics
August 10, 2021
Dear Parents and Swimmers,
The MatchPoint NYC Swim Team had a memorable performance at the Metropolitan Junior Olympics Swim Meet. Our favorite swimmers placed 10th out of 45 total teams that participated in the event. The 15-18 year old Boys broke a Junior-Olympics record that has been standing since 2014. Joe DiMaggio, Eric Cherny, Youssef Elkhouly, and Ethan Law shattered the 200m Freestyle Relay record by a whole 3 seconds, while taking home 1st place in the process! Coach Konstantin Petrov and the rest of the coaches are extremely proud of everyone’s hard work & the results of the meet.
