Junior Olympic and Age Group Challenge Swim Meet Report

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text delay=”0″]Dear MatchPoint NYC parents and swimmers! Congratulations to all swimmers who showed great results during the Junior Olympic and Age Group Challenge swim meets last weekend.

Age Group Challenge meet (15-18 y.o. age category) over all our team placed 4th in the competition by total score points.

Medals in detail:

Elan Oumarov: 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd places, and got 6 place by score points after many events.

Christopher Orobinsky: 2^nd and 7^th places.

Gabriel Mohlenbrok: 6^th place.

Khaled Hammam: 7^th place.

Michael Mcalpine: 9^th place .

Angelina Gonzalez: two new MatchPoint NYC team records.

200 Free Relays – 3^rd place: Christopher Orobinsky, Yeugeniy Kourilov, Khaled Hammam, Elan Oumarov.

400 Medley Relay – 3^rd place: Michael Mcalpine, Michael Arkhangelskiy, Elan Oumarov and Christopher Orobinsky.

Age Group Challenge meet (14 and under) our team placed 15^th by the total score points.

Jared Ma: 5^th and 7^th place.

Nick Radkov: 2^nd, 5^th, two 6 places 8^th and 10^th place, and two new MatchPoint NYC team records.

Edward Baranov: 2^nd place.

Martina Kaps: 8^th place and two new MatchPoint NYC team records.

John DiMaggio: 9^th place.

Saadeddin Saadeddin: 10^th place.

Nikole Yildiz and Yousef Hafiz: new MatchPoint NYC team record.
