Angela Wilson Rhythmic Gymnastics Review

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text animate=”none” delay=”0″]As a parent of a gymnast I am glad that my daughter is involved in a competitive sport. Rhythmic Gymnastics has been her life since the age of 4. We’ve all been hearing that sports builds strong character, persistence, respect, teamwork, leadership and helps children learn important life skills. It is hard to be a gymnast and spend 20 hours a week working non-stop, however I see how my daughter sets her weekly and monthly goals with the coach, who desires the best for her and is also a co-parent figure on a daily basis. Her desire to be successful will always be useful in life.

My daughter understands that to reach a goal can be hard, but she does not give up and keeps her focus. At MatchPoint NYC’s Rhythmic Gymnastics she learned persistence and desire to work through challenges. She fought for every skill she ever learned. I see how she competes each year and learns how to deal with stress and emotions during each competition. She is learning to deal with conflicts and finding ways to work with people who are different, understands that others may have an alternate point of view and learns how to compromise. MatchPoint NYC’s Rhythmic Gymnastics Team is a great team where my daughter practices every day. We are so happy to be a part of it. A big thank you goes out to Lucy, the team coach, for her professionalism and patience.

I would also like to thank the owners of MatchPoint NYC for giving everyone the opportunity to be trained in a professional gym.

Sincerely,

Angela Wilsom
