Rhythmic Gymnastics is a beautiful, predominately female Olympic sport that involves a combination of ballet, body movement, and apparatus handling. There are five apparatus: Rope, Hoop, Ball, Clubs, and Ribbon. One must master all five to be successful.

passing (whole or part of the body), rolls (body or floor), rotations (hand or part of the body), rotation around its axis (floor or body), tosses/catches BALL
roll over body segment(s), roll on the floor, figure eight (large circle with circumduction), bounces, rebounds (floor or body), rotations, swings, free rotations, “flip-overs”, tosses/catches
mills, small circles, asymmetric movements, small tosses, topping, swings, free rotations, rolls (body or floor) RIBBON
spirals, snakes, rotation, passing “Enchappe”, boomerang, wrapping/unwrapping, swing
FREE introductory lessons for kids are on Sunday
ages 3 & 4: 12-1pm
ages 5 – 7: 1-2PM
