Kids will learn how to immerse their heads under water, blow bubbles, float with support, jump into and get out of the water. They will also focus on freestyle swimming, back kicks with assistance, fundamentals of freestyle and backstroke with support.

Instructor permission is required before enrollment. Participants are taught the butterfly and breaststroke as well as advanced swimming techniques to help improve their overall swimming efficiency. Goals of this program include learning proper streamline position for the front and back flutter kick, dolphin kick, and front dive. Participants will also tread water for 1 minute and swim freestyle, breaststroke, and backstroke for 25 yards.
In this course, swimmers build skills and refine all four competitive strokes. This program focuses on techniques such as flip-turns, standing dives, and breaststroke pull-downs.
